I'm wondering, how can comics and art be a way for me, and for the collective to receive an invitation into seeing life the way it is. I'm understanding that that is just what enlightenment is all about. Seeing things the way they are, and freeing oneself from attachment to seeing life the way it is not, through the veil of illusion. Freeing oneself from only seeing life through the clouded haze of ideas and beliefs and preferences and viewpoints. Perceptions that are distorted by our minds.
So as for a comic, being simply some lines of a piece of paper. Something telling a story. Can this medium help me see things the way they are, instead of the way they are not? Somehow I know there is infinite possibilities to what comics can do and give us in life. But I'm not there yet you know.
And it's a real exciting journey. :-)
